From Rocha da Pena to the Honey of Serra do Caldeirão

The protected landscape of Rocha da Pena is considered a geomonument of rare natural beauty. Located on the border between Barrocal and Serra do Caldeirão, it has more than 360 species of flora already identified, and is also a place of great diversity of fauna, providing shelter to more than 300 species.

This is where we will walk from the Serra do Caldeirão to the Honey Factory. Here we will learn and visit this enormous world of small and wonderful beings that are bees, from the hives to the bottling of honey.

We finished with a tasting of the delicious honey produced by the local beekeeping family.
